1. The seller and the buyer agree to use Escrow Kenya's internet escrow service. Either party can invite the other. For instance, if you are a seller and the buyer insists on receiving the item first before paying, you can introduce him/her to the concept of escrow. This way, such a buyer will feel confident buying from you and is likely to make a purchase since our service guarantees security. Once you have both agreed to use escrow, one party sends an escrow invitation by filling out the order form.
2. The buyer deposits the funds into Escrow Kenya's secure escrow account. This done via an Mpesa paybill number (zero charges) or transfer to our bank account. The seller is advised to ship the item to the buyer.
3. The seller ships/delivers the item. Normally, the buyer and seller will have agreed on how the item will reach the buyer. This can be through a courier service such as G4S.
4. The buyer accepts the item. The buyer receives the item and inspects it to confirm that it is indeed what he/she ordered. If satisfied, they approve the delivery.
   Otherwise, if rejected, the order goes into dispute resolution and we work with both parties to resolve any issue. We never release the money until a dispute is resolved.
5. Escrow Kenya releases the funds to the seller. Approval of a delivery automatically releases escrowed funds to the seller, bringing the transaction to an end.
