Never Get Conned When Buying or Selling Online

Since October 2018, Escrow Kenya has helped thousands of Kenyans transact safely through our website. Over twelve thousand users registered for our service and safely transacted with strangers. Tens of online stores adopted the Escrow Kenya API to offer peace of mind to their customers.

Over the years, Escrow Kenya has secured more than Ksh 50 million in transactions and saved the day for numerous online customers and merchants who would otherwise have been conned.

Due to several challenges, we have not yet been able to fully unlock the transformative potential that the escrow concept has in the Kenyan eCommerce space. As such, we will be pausing operations indefinitely, effective 1st July 2022.

In the meantime, we will be working on new partnerships so that if and when we bounce back, we will continue to offer unmatched services.

CHANGES TO OPERATIONS
Effective 1st July 2022, the following changes will be effected.

1. New user registration will be disabled.
2. New partner account registration will be disabled.
3. Updating of profile information will be disabled, except for password updates.
4. Checkout through existing API integrations will be disabled.
5. New transactions on the website will be disabled.
6. Escrow Kenya affiliates (referral) will be disabled.

The following features will remain available.

1. Login and password reset.
2. Initiation of withdrawals.
3. Access to records of past orders and withdrawals.
4. Account closure.
